Team Tournament Regulations
- Teams tournaments will be played in two categories:
- Open Teams Tournament,
- Popular Teams Tournament for players with WK (Polish masterpoints) ≤ 5.
- Invitations for each team will be issued to teams of four, five or six.
- In the qualifying stages in all categories the results of each match shall be converted into Victory Points in accordance with the appropriate WBF IMP/VP scales
- Popular teams:
- All matches 4-boards,
- Group stage - 3 matches in groups of 4.
- Swiss stage - 6 matches (the last round - Danish).
- Open tournament:
- Qualification stage - 9 rounds of 4 boards
- Group stage - 3 matches in groups of 4.
- Swiss stage - 6 matches (the last round - Danish)
- Play-off stage
- Semi-finals 12 boards (2x6). Qualification winner chooses their opponent from the teams placed 3-4 in the Qualifications. The losers in the semifinals take 3-4 seats according to the order after the qualifications.
- Final 12 boards (2x6).
- Seating rights has a team which took a higher place in the qualifications.
- Carry-over 0,1 IMP has a team which took a higher place in the qualifications.
- Tie breaking in Popular Teams and qualifications stage of Open Teams:
- A higher place before the last round.
- A better relative IMP quotients.
- More VPs of direct matches.
- More IMPs won than lost.
- A Draw.
- The score correction period is specified in the Supplementary Conditions of Contest of the Congress (paragraph 10).
- In the event of any doubt or dispute as to such meaning, the decision of the Chief TD in agreement with the Organizing Committee shall be final and conclusive.
